Yo- Wasssup? April here- like you didn't guess. Jamie always puts me down for not writing in this damn blog. She says I'm lazy. Actually, I'm shy LOL... I mean... writing all this personal stuff on the web? ya know we have our own little fan club at school? People actually know about our website, and pages. Geez...

So I'm writing today cause I've been surfing around the web, and thought, "Yeah! I've got a story! I've got to write it down in my blog!" I'm always feeling like this is Jamie's blog, when actually we both share it.

So I was going thru some of my Mom's old papers today. And I found some old poems, and school essays. I also found some "diary" entries from when she was in High School. And it's soooo funny- because she was so much like me! She had the biggest crush on a guy she called "Allan". And just wrote about each time he looked her way- or each time they actually spoke- which was not very often. She froze every time she got near him. And in her diary the title was always, "The Angela and Allan Story". In reality? Nope- no story. Just two people going to classes together, and sometimes smiling at each other or knodding, etc. And they went to a high school where there were only 52 people in their graduating class!!! So it's not like they couldn't become friends. My Mom- Angela- was just so afraid of speaking to him- because she was afraid of rejection. LOL- like aren't we always? And whats worse? He loved the film biz- my mom loves the film biz. His father was an artist- my Grandpa is an artist- my Mom's Dad!!!!!!! They had so much in common- like dah!!! Now that I think about it- why on earth didn't they ever even talk to each other? Was he as nervious about talking to my Mom as she was talking to him? Did he ever have a crush on her? My Mom was an absolutely gorgeous girl back then!! (And she still looks great today!) So why didn't they ever talk? So weird huh?

I'm glad my Mom ended up with my Dad, obviously!! And no- my Dad was not Allan. But I bet she's always wondered about 'Allan" and where he ended up and stuff. He has never gone to any of her High School reunions. Hmm.. Maybe this is a case for that show, "Classmates". Hah! That would be funny!!! This is something I might have to talk to Jamie about!!

But anyway- I now realize that Mom is not so different from me, or my sister, or Jamie, etc. We all have crushes. Some of our crushes are so strong that we're almost afraid of breaking them, or changing them by trying to really get to know that person. I've had this immense crush recently on a guy in the 12th grade. But I can't talk about him here. He could end up reading this- lol!!!! Anyways. Gotta sign off. Mom wants me to turn my lights off. "You know how hard it is for you to wake up in the morning when you stay up late!!" Oh well. Night!! Luv, April
