Mood: Feeling tired, and achy. I think I'm fighting the flu. So did I tell ya about the Homecoming dance? My God!! I went! I pretended not to have a date. So I went with April, and Max. Max's mom picked us up! I pretended to be on a date with them- and we all walked in togther! Max looked like a lucky guy! Walkin in with a girl on each arm!! LOL!!
It was a really fun dance! But at first I thought I was stood up. :( Eddie Morgan was supposed to be my date. I told him to meet me at the front door of the dance- which was in our gym. It was actually the back door of our gym. But Eddie doesn't go to my school- so he got lost three times. First he got lost getting there. Then he went to the middle school instead of the Upper school. By that time he called me. But the dance was so loud that I didn't hear my phone. So he kept asking people until he finally found the right door. And then he couldn't find his ticket. LOL!!! I only noticed him because every girl at the dance turned to look at him- since he was a "new face"- and they all started flirting with him. Samantha and Lorina actually let him in!! and followed him over to me. I felt this tapping on my shoulder, and I turned around to look, and it was EDDIE!!!
"May I have this dance?" He asked me. I was startled. By this time I considered myself "stood up".
"I don't know", I grinned, "Does this mean you're my date? Or are you their date?" All the cheerleaders were standing behind him.
"Well technically they let me in the dance. I lost my ticket-"
"FIGURES." I laughed.
"But you're the one who asked me here. And you're also the sexiest-"
"Excuse me?" interrupted Samantha. "This is bullshit!!" And with that Samantha and the other girls stormed away. Thank god! All their "dates" were getting ready to rumble with my poor Eddie.
"Someone doesn't take rejection well." I smirked.
"Enough about them. Ya wanna dance?" Grinned Eddie. I took his hand and we took over the dance floor! It was sooooo much fun! April and Max danced next to us, and we looked like the queens of the dance floor!! And TRUST ME- I love to DANCE!!!!!
It was one of the funnest days of my life!! And April, and Max actually really liked Eddie! Though Toby barely talked to us. He even ignored me at one point. I think he was jealous. Mostly because Samantha took such an interest in Eddie. Eddie has this kind of badboy look to him. So I know Samantha took a big liking to him!

Ya know what's really sad? Well my Mom doesn't understand me at all. She won't ever listen to me, and says "You're a teenager- you don't have problems." As if that's really TRUE!!! What planet is she on? Jupitor? Cause it's certainly making her stupider!! I mean- doesn't she remember being a teenager? Doesn't she remember how depressing it is? How you feel so helpless, and so confined? I mean she won't talk to me about boys. They've just given me permission last month to go out on group dates, and they've created so many rules that I don't even want to go thru it. I'd just prefer to do it the way I did- I told Eddie to meet me at the dance. Why? Cause otherwise- Mom would have to meet him. Then Dad would have to meet him. Then one of them would drive us everywhere. Plus I'd have to be home by 10pm. How crazy is that? Why? Cause Dad doesn't trust Mom, and Mom doesn't trust Dad. That's why. So they're taking it out on my social life. So now I act like I don't have any. And I'll act like this until they come to their senses or I'm 18 and can move the hell away from them. This is soooo sad, isn't it? But it's true...

Ok, so I'm gonna go watch some TV now. On this late Saturday night. Mom's out with Aunt Vicki. And Mark went to Justin's house this weekend to start up his band. Isn't that funny? Mark and Justin in a band? But they're getting pretty good!! plus they have this HOTTTT friend named Ridgley who sings!!
